This is the "desk around the room" arrangment based on the idea that you can never have enough deskspace to throw stuff on!<grin>

As I understand it, the desktop was constructed after careful measurement of the room. It is supported by the existing desks as well as additional supports where neccesary.

The Halogen lights are another common lighting method. In this type of arrangment you can either, cut the wire inside the light and remove a section to make the light a desklamp, or in this case, the wire was cut, and a hole drilled through the desk allowed the light pole to pass through the desk before reassembling.

The original design credit for this idea goes to Brian Montini, but Mark has improved on the design here by the addition of multiple shelving additions.
